When asked about the trending hair colors of the year, Chi shared that “The Pantone color trends that are popular this year are shades of lemon yellow and pink red, as well as dark gray tones that are gaining popularity.”

Personal color is the principle of choosing hair color based on skin tone. “Our customers are mostly Asians with yellow skin. They need to choose colors that are opposite to the undertone of their skin. For example, people with yellow skin should not do gold tones, but they can add warm tones such as magenta-red or harmony wood tones. This will make the skin look brighter and not pale.”

How to take care of colored hair.

When asked about tips for caring for colored hair, Chi explained further that, “Hair that has been dyed needs to use a shampoo specifically formulated for colored hair. It is also important to use a conditioner for dry or colored hair in conjunction. In addition to the various nutrients that help to protect hair that has been dyed, the mild acidity of the conditioner helps to balance the alkalinity of the shampoo.
